ABC Topical Collection

Manuscripts focusing on exceptional analytical and bioanalytical innovations are welcome to be submitted to the journal Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry (ABC). In 2018, we plan to publish a collection of papers which were partly presented at Euroanalysis conference in Stockholm, guest edited by Charlotta Turner and Jonas Bergquist. Please submit your paper online to the ABC editorial office and mention the name of the topical collection “EuroAnalysis Conference 2017”; submission deadline is November 15, 2017. All accepted contributions will be electronically linked as soon as published online.

Manuscripts can be full Research Papers or Rapid Communications, presenting original, unpublished work on new analytical method developments or innovative analytical applications to be in agreement with the journal’s aims and scope. The Editors would like to point out that according to the editorial policy each submitted paper is subject to customary peer-review procedures and will be prescreened by the Editors first. Poster Awards

Award ceremony: Friday 1st September at 11:50 during the closing of Euroanalysis.

Via Springer we can offer the Best Student Poster Award to the two presenters per poster session. The awardees will receive EUR 250 in Springer books + Award Certificate

Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is supporting PhDs and gives three poster pitch prizes of their journals Analyst, Analytical Methods and Lab on a Chip, the winners get a one year e-subscription.

Please read the guidelines below carefully;
The student should be the first author of the poster and present at the relevant poster session
The posters will be evaluated in terms of: design and layout, coherence, argumentation + methodology, awareness of previous work, attractiveness, message and main points, balance of text and visuals, and overall impression.

Poster presentation

Poster presentation abstract could still be submitted to the “Late poster” session.

Participants who would like to give a poster presentation are kindly asked to submit an abstract.We especially encourage young scientists to submit abstracts. Due to limited space,  no more than 2 poster presentations will be accepted per person. Some of the posters have been selected for the Poster pitch (1 slide, 2 minutes) sessions, one in each Poster session.
“Late posters”: Poster presentation abstracts submitted 16 July (or later) will not be given the possibility to get “Poster pitch” and will be presented in the unsorted “Late poster” session.

Abstracts without registered (deadline 1 August) presenting author will not be included in the conference proceedings.

Recommended poster format is A0 portrait (width × height; 841 × 1189 mm) in order to fit the poster boards. Note, printing service on site is not available.

Oral presentation

Abstract submission for Oral presentation is closed.

Participants who would like to give an oral presentation are kindly asked to submit an abstract. We especially encourage young scientists to submit abstracts. There is no limit for the number of abstracts you can submit, but it is not likely to get more than one oral presentation accepted.
If your request for an oral presentation cannot be fulfilled your contribution will automatically be redirected to the poster session.


Abstract preparation

You can submit as many abstract you want, but both oral and poster presentations will be selected by the scientific committee.

Do not forget to include your Surname in the file name and note that only letters (A-Z, a-z) and numbers (0-9) should be used.
